Preparing individuals to teach English in their communities and around the world.
TEFL Course Schedule
We are currently working to revise our TEFL curriculum, and are not currently offering TEFL courses. We hope to begin to offer courses again in 2022.
Teaching Practicum
In addition to in-class time, TEFL participants are required to complete a 25-hour teaching practicum, most of which would be spent in a community ESOL classroom in Boston. These hours are scheduled after the start of your course. The following is the current availability for teaching practicum opportunities.
Mondays: ESOL Classes, 5:30-7:30pm | Downtown Crossing
Tuesdays: ESOL Classes, 9:30am-2:00pm | Hyde Park
Wednesdays: ESOL Classes, 5:30-7:30pm | Downtown Crossing
Thursdays: ESOL Classes, 9:30am-2:00pm | Hyde Park
Fridays: ESOL Classes, 5:30-7:30pm | Downtown Crossing
These opportunities are available through the Boston Community ESOL Center and are subject to change.
